Allyson M. Rottman
Associate Executive Director
A music educator for over 20 years, Allyson Rottman holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (2002) and a Master of Music (2006) from UMass-Amherst, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree (Ed.D.; ABD 12/23) in Educational Leadership with a focus in Music Education from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN. She has served as a clinician for the Massachusetts Music Educators Association (MMEA) state conferences (2022 & 2023) and has presented her doctoral research at the NAfME national conference in November, 2022, the NYSSMA Winter Conference in December, 2024, the Suncoast Music Education Research Conference in February, 2025, and the All-Eastern Conference in April 2025. Allyson has worked as an Adjunct Professor of Music Education at Anna Maria College and UMass-Lowell, and serves as the Advocacy Chair for MMEA, Concert Chair for the All-State Festival (2025 & 2026), and Editor for the Large Municipalities section of the Massachusetts Music Educators Journal. A proud alumna of the Worcester Youth Symphony Orchestra, Allyson is thrilled to step into her role as the new Associate Executive Director.
