Worcester Youth Symphony Orchestra

Carnegie Hall Performance

The Worcester Youth Orchestras is thrilled to announce that its flagship ensemble, the WY Symphony Orchestra, will be performing on stage at Carnegie Hall! This incredibly opportunity will be a part of WY Symphony Orchestra's regular 2025 - 2026 Concert Season and will an unforgettable experience for its members. As this is a part of the Symphony's regular concert schedule, there is no additional fee or charge for this concert. WYO will provide bus transport to and from Worcester, remaining empty seats will be available to parents to purchase. The WY Symphony will share the legendary stage with the Norwalk Youth Orchestra and Empire State Youth Orchestra for this incredible festival performance with each orchestra performing 40-45 minutes of music each. 

About Carnegie Hall

Carnegie Hall is a world-famous concert hall in New York City that hosts a wide variety of musical performances. It's considered a national historic landmark and one of the most prestigious venues in the world. It was designed by architect William Burnet Tuthill and built by industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie.

Tchaikovsky: Opened the hall in 1891 with a concert
