Wind Ensemble Registration Now Live!
The Jazz & Wind Ensemble Programs celebrate 10 seasons with founding Directors Lucy Colwell & Dan Gabel. These two incredible educators have led these programs since their inception and we look forward to acknowledging their work and seeing our alums for two reunion events.

Dear WYWE Alum,
I hope this finds you and your family well. This season, the Worcester Youth Wind Ensemble rings in its 10-year milestone, which we have reached due in large part to your participation and musicianship. It has been an amazing journey with lots of great memories. I am truly grateful to have worked with so many wonderful people over the years.
Please join me in celebration on the stage at Mechanics Hall on Saturday, December 20, 2025! Dust off your cases if needed and don’t be shy- you will be performing with this year’s WYWE! The concert will include some pieces that we have performed over the years along with some new selections. Each of you had a hand in making the ensemble thrive, and it would be so great to see all of you again.

Wind Ensemble Reunion Concert Details
Concert: Saturday December 20, 2025
Location: Mechanics Hall, Worcester
Cost: $20 for an alumni T-Shirt & Alumni Concert Ticket
1:30pm Rehearsal
3:00pm Alumni Reception
4:00pm Concert
You are welcome to attend any WYWE rehearsal prior to the concert if you are in the area during December. WYWE rehearses in Worcester on Monday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Reach out to Christine with any questions about rehearsals/music at [email protected].
