Mikaela Oss
Philharmonic Conductor
Mikaela Oss is currently the middle school orchestra director in Farmington Public Schools. She has also worked as a teacher and camp director for the Farmington Summer String Academy which serves approximately 160 students entering grades 3-10 in the Farmington Valley. She currently plays with the Farmington Valley Symphony Orchestra as principal second violin. She enjoys gigging around New England for weddings, musicals, and other events.
Mikaela began studying violin at the age of 5, and added viola to her repertoire during her undergraduate studies at Carroll University in Wisconsin. She has always had a deep appreciation for music and is enthusiastic about instilling a passion for music in all of her students.
