Christine Carter
General Manager
Prior to working with the WYO she spent 13 years as a choral director and music teacher, including at St, Mary's Parish in Shrewsbury.
Christine has taught the choirs at Bishop Feehan High School and general music at Douglas Middle School. She started her career teaching in the Shrewsbury Public Schools which is where she spent the majority of her childhood being a student in the Shrewsbury school system. She has also been the music director and vocal director for a variety of shows at the Bishop Feehan and Algonquin Regional High School. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Ithaca College, and her master’s degree in Music Education from the Boston Conservatory.
Christine had the honor of being the Concert Manager for the Massachusetts All State Festival in 2012 and the Assistant Concert Manager in 2011. She is a proud member of Massachusetts Music Education Association (MMEA), the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).
